Mark Webber won the monaco grand prix second time beating Nico Rosberg who managed second place. Rosberg, Alonso and Vettel had a furious battle throughout the race. Mark Webber became sixth driver in the season to claim podium. This is first time in history of Formula1 that six different drivers were on podium in six races.
Fernando Alonso however now lead the championship with 76 points, ahead of red bull drivers with 73 points each followed by Lewis Hamilton on fourth with 63 points. In contructors title Red Bull leads with 146 points ahead of Mclaren with 108 followed by ferrari and lotus at 86 points each. Mercedes now stands at 61 points and Williams at 44 followed closely by Sauber at 41.
