Chinese GP – Nico Rosberg takes F1 pole
Nico Rosberg claimed his first ever pole position at Chinese GP. The german was furious as he was half a second faster at 1:35.121 than second driver on pole, Lewis Hamilton. Michael Schumacher managed third position but due to a gearbox penalty Lewis Hamilton will start from third position making Mercedes duo as front runners. This is also first pole position for Mercedes since 1955. This achievement is possible as a result of Mercedes innovative front wing design.
