Michael Schumacher claimed fastest lap time at Monacco. He managed a 1 m 14.301 s coming ahead of Mark Webber who had his best lap time as 1 m 14.381 s. Unfortunately Michael will start from sixth place on the grid due a penalty. The five place down penalty was issued to former world champion after hitting Bruno senna in Barcelona. As a result first row will be shared by Mark Webber and Nico Rosberg.
It was once again a great run by romain grosjean who will start from second grid at fourth place behind Lewis Hamilton. Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa managed a good run and claimed fifth and sixth pole position respectively.
