Fernando Alonzo had won European grandprix in a spectacular race. Sebastian Vettel and Lewis hamilton both had to retire leaving the spaniard at 111 points and thus championship leader. Michael Schumacher for the first time since his second career return grabbed podium at third position. Kimi Raikkonen was second followed by Mark webber at fouth. Mark Webber is now second in F1 championship with 91 points followed by Lewis Hamilton at third with 88 points and Sebastian Vettel at fouth claiming 85 points. Nico Hulkenberg of Force India had managed to finish at impressive fifth position claiming 10 good points. Nico Rosberg delivered fastest lap of the race. In constructor standing Red Bull/Renault leads with 176 points. Next race of F1 will be held in Silverstone, Britain on 8th July, 2012.
Sebastian Vettel once again claimed pole at European grand prix after close competition with lewis hamilton. William’s Pastor Maldonado managed to grab third position from lotus Romain Grosjean. Kimi Raikkonen secured fifth position followed by Nico Rosberg at sixth place, Kamui Kobayashi at seveth. Force India drivers performed well and secured eight and tenth position. Fernando Alonso was not able to better his Q2 run and will start from eleventh position followed by Michael Schumacher ar Twelveth position.
Aston Martin has officially unveiled new Vanquish supercar, who came to replace the ageing DBS. According to the automaker, the new product has surpassed its predecessor in almost all aspects. Speaking of the appearance of the new Aston Martin Vanquish , the design can be called evolutionary. Outlines of coupe resembles the model DBS, but the exterior design elements are similar to exclusive One-77 supercar, which was released a limited edition in an amount of seventy-seven pieces. Overall length of Vanquish is 4720 mm, width 2067 mm and height 1294 mm. It has an identical wheelbase as of DBS at 2740 mm, the new Aston is 5 mm wider and 14 mm higher. American tuners from underground racing had developed and modified 1200 Hp Lamborghini aventador supercar. The fine-tuning specialists from North Carolina were engaged as soon as the car went on sale. According to the company, in the process of installing its own system of dual turbochargers on the engine of aventador they encountered some difficulties, but eventually were able to overcome them. This resulted in increase of power from 700 hp to a stagerring 1200 Hp. These figures place the supercar next to Bugatti veyron supersports. However, these approximate figures and were obtained in the course of calculations. This fine tuned machine can now acheive 0-60 mph in 2.2 s on street tires, normal air pressure and on a regular road. Transmission is also upgraded and had resulted in reduced shift time. Lewis Hamilton claimed victory at Canadian GP. Surely this is one of the most exciting year in Formula 1 history as seven different drivers claimed victory in seven races. Lewis Hamilton is now on top of championship with 88 points ahead of Fernando Alonso at 86 and Sebastian Vettel at 85. Romain Grosjean and Sergio Perez finished strongly to complete the podium at second and third position respectively. Start of the race was fairly quiet and all drivers were able to avoid any conflict. It started after first pit stop when Felipe Massa managed to get around Nico Rosberg in the battle for fifth place, but Brazilian made a mistake which resulted in roll back. Sebastian Vettel grabs pole at Montreal on Saturday F1 Qualifying race. Second position was claimed by Lewis Hamilton who looks very promising and could make race day very interesting to watch. The Briton is the only driver of the first five who have not won a single victory this season. From second grid at third place will start Fernando Alonso who tops the championship points. Mark webber managed a respectable fourth position. Nico Rosberg will start from fifth position followed by Felipe Massa and Romain Grosjean at sixth and seventh position respectively. In addition, among top ten were Michael Schumacher at Ninth and Jenson Button at tenth place. Kimi Raikkonen failed to attempt Q3 due a differential problem and will start from 12th position.
