Nissan Juke-R

The Nissan Juke-R began as a project developed by Nissan European technical center and construction company specialist RML. RML produce and develop racing cars bodywork for racing series WTCC. It will finally become a limited series production model.

What was special about Juke-R was that the engine was borrowed from 2008 Nissan GTR. It was a 3.6 liter V6 twin turbo motor developing 485 bhp. As a result Juke-R can do 0-60 mph in 4.0 seconds. The All wheel drive system is also borrowed by GTR. It is also equipped with 6-speed dual clutch robotized transmission. In the production model, Nissan had announced that Juke-R will be equipped with the latest 2012 tuned Skyline GTR engine developing 545 bhp.

Externally Nissan Juke-R flaunts advance aerodynamic body kit with different bumpers, side skirts, extended wheel arches, 20-inch wheels and dual rear wing on the edge of the roof. Inside, the car is equipped with a roll cage, racing bucket seats, instrument panel and center console with 7-inch screen multimedia system.

So far company had not announced price of this model. The first three units will be delivered in late summer of 2012.
